Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 1533 Brooklyn Avenue in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Farragut Road and Glenwood Road, the lot is near the Newkirk Avenue-Little Haiti subway station, served by the 2 and 5 trains. Sivan Dahan is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 11,994 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 17 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 705 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a 33-foot-long rear yard and four open parking spaces.
Ying H. Li of City Building NY Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
