Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 55 Bartlett Street in the Broadway Triangle section of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Throop and Harrison Avenues, the lot is near the Lorimer Street subway station, served by the J and M trains. Joel Landau of YL Interior LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 77-foot-tall development will yield 9,859 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 821 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Charles Mallea Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed last month for the single-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
