Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 2183 Ocean Avenue in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Located between Avenue R and Quentin Road, the lot is near the Kings Highway subway station, served by the B and Q trains. 2183-2187 Ocean LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 25,300 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 37 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 683 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 37-foot-long rear yard.
S. Wieder Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
