Permits have been filed for a 21-story mixed-use building at 413 East 120th Street in East Harlem, Manhattan. Located between Harlem River Drive and First Avenue, the lot is within walking distance of 116th Street subway station, served by the 6 train. New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 211-foot-tall development will yield 275,362 square feet, with 224,752 square feet designated for residential space and 50,610 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 282 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 796 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Paul A. Castrucci Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
