Permits Filed for 1872 Fulton Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 1872 Fulton Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Fulton Street and Buffalo Avenue, the lot is one block west of the Ralph Avenue subway station, served by the A and C trains. Hersh Klein of Excellent Interior Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 62-foot-tall development will yield 22,759 square feet, with 19,778 square feet designated for residential space and 2,980 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 33 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 599 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.

Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Fulton Street does not run through Crown Heights. Crown Heights is south of Atlantic.
