Permits have been filed to expand a three-story structure into a four-story residential building at 966 Greene Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Patchen Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, the lot is near the Kosciuszko Street subway station, served by the J train. Arie Bar Chaim of Brooklyn AZ Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development rentals yield 8,385 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 839 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 35-foot-long rear yard.
Mohamed Saleh of Saleh and Associates LLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
