64-08 Wetherole Street in Rego Park, Queens via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 64–08 Wetherole Street, seven-story residential building in Rego Park, Queens. Designed by Michael Muroff Architect and developed by Tahoe Development, the structure yields 26 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are eight units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $92,812 to $227,500.

Residences feature in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, energy-efficient appliances, hardwood floors, and private patios or balconies. Amenities include a gym, rooftop terrace, covered parking, bike storage, virtual doorman, and secure package lockers. Tenants are responsible for electricity, including stove, heating, and hot water.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are two studios with a monthly rent of $2,500 for incomes ranging from $92,812 to $168,480; five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,000 for incomes ranging from $112,252 to $189,540; and one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,600 for incomes ranging from $137,932 to $227,500.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than December 5, 2025.

    For this area, the monthly charges listed are market rate.

  2. I don’t live far from there and have done do for decades. They have destroyed blocks of small businesses and built ugly, oversized apartment buildings that are mostly empty. They’ve destroyed the neighborhood. It’s disgusting.
