The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) has announced a new partnership with Public Service, the creative studio of Public Records, to develop a 1,000-capacity venue at MADE Bush Terminal in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The venue will be located in Building A of the campus and will feature a range of programming, including live music, large-scale art installations, and both public and private events.
The new venue marks the next phase of NYCEDC’s redevelopment of MADE Bush Terminal, part of its broader “Harbor of the Future” initiative, which aims to invest in the city’s working waterfronts. The project seeks to further establish the site as a cultural destination while supporting job creation and community engagement. Public Service will curate year-round programming that reflects Sunset Park’s diverse community and reinforces the site’s role as a hub for creativity and innovation.
MADE Bush Terminal currently includes 140,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space, 30,000 square feet dedicated to cultural programming, and five acres of public parkland. Additional plans for the site include expanded public waterfront access, new food and beverage options, and a ferry landing. The cultural venue is expected to open in late 2026.
The site is accessible via the D, N, and R trains at 36th Street station in Sunset Park, with additional transit connectivity planned through future ferry service.
