Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 512 West 169th Street in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Located between Amsterdam Avenue and Audubon Avenue, the lot is close to the 168th Street subway station, served by the A and C trains. Chuck Arnold of Misra Group, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 7,228 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 903 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 28-foot-long rear yard.

Rohit Misra of Misra & Associates is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed for the two-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. That 19th Century building is clearly decades older than any of its neighbors, and it still has the original facade. An impressive feat of resilience that will soon come to an inevitable end.
