Work is underway on the modernization of the Castle Hill Library, a one-story building at 947 Castle Hill Avenue in Castle Hill, The Bronx. Designed by Abruzzo Bodziak Architects LLC and managed by the NYC Department of Design and Construction, the $17 million project will overhaul the structure’s interiors and replace its red brick façade with a modern envelope. Exterior work is progressing on 650 Southern Boulevard, a nine-story mixed-use building in Longwood, The Bronx. Designed by IMC Architecture and developed by Jerome Development Corp., the 111-foot-tall structure will house a 74,000-square-foot in-patient drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility with 54 rooms. Refinancing Secured For 1250 Broadway In NoMad, Manhattan

Real estate development and investment firm Global Holdings has secured a $450 million refinancing for 1250 Broadway, a 39-story office tower in NoMad, Manhattan. Branded as Nomad Tower, the property is a LEED Platinum-certified office building located along Broadway between West 31st and West 32nd Streets. Wells Fargo originated the three-year fixed-rate loan, which was structured as a Green Bond, while Eastdil Secured advised on the transaction. Proceeds from the financing will retire existing debt on the property.
