Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 217 Devoe Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Olive Street and Bushwick Avenue, the lot is near the Grand Street subway station, served by the L train. Arie Bar Chaim of Brooklyn AZ Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 12,467 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 16 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 779 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, a 36-foot-long rear yard, and one enclosed parking spaces.
Hao H. Li Ying of City Building NY Architect P.C. is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
