New renderings have been revealed for 60 North 1st Street, a nine-story residential building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by NA Design Studio and developed by Bruklyn Builders, the 95-foot-tall structure will span 38,120 square feet and yield 56 rental units with an average scope of 680 square feet. The project will also include ground-floor commercial space, a cellar level, a 20-foot-long rear yard, and a 12-vehicle parking garage, according to permits filed in February 2025. INPUT is the façade and interior designer for the property, which is located between Kent and Wythe Avenues.

The above rendering shows the northern elevation rising uniformly up to the sixth floor, followed by a setback topped with a landscaped terrace on the western side of the building. The final three stories feature a series of balconies with metal railings, and the structure culminates in a flat roof. The façade will be composed of red brick with an arched fenestration of warehouse-style floor-to-ceiling windows and black cornice lines along each floor plate. The ground floor will be clad in black paneling, with commercial frontage at the center and the garage door at the western end.

The below rendering offers a closer look at the brick bond patterns and recessed arched windows.

    We’re gonna need more arches.
But pay no attention to the first floor.

  2. Nice. Love those brix

  3. Architectural stability up to floor six and then a random, almost Pisa-like tower-ation above to show off the modcon supercilious fusion architecture of twenty first century Brooklyn.

  4. Seems like the facade designers really do care about pegeon housing.
