“…the lot is closest to the Castle Hill Avenue subway station, served by the 6 train.”

Which is 24 blocks away, so probably not worth mentioning as much as the fact that its half that distance to the Bruckner Expressway!

    • Many people who live in that waterfront area of Castle Hill depend on that train station via the Bx22. About a 12 minute ride from that location. Most of the new residents will likely be similarly dependent.

  2. Quaint, but most of these older detached buildings in this area of the Bronx and similar are in poor shape inside. Infestations, mold, leaks, extremely out of date and poor energy efficiency. The similar neighbor to the right looks like it has the original 1950s era windows and the rain gutter is falling off.

Replacing this 3 unit with a 14 unit is decent infill for this more out of the way area.
