Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1552 Leland Avenue in Parkchester, The Bronx. Located between Archer Street and Guerlain Street, the lot is near the Parkchester subway station, served by the 6 train. Marash Voka of Voka Mechanical Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 12,302 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 650 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a penthouse and 29-foot-long rear yard.
John Backos of Grid Drafting and Consulting LLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for a three-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
