66 Rockwell Place—formerly known as 29 Flatbush—has topped-out, and cladding is now progressing up the sides. The design appeared to undergo several revisions even as the project rose, as initial renderings showed a tower clad in red-brick, but the ultimate facade appears to be very glassy.
The tower is 457 feet in height with a total of 42 floors and 327 units. Though under 500 feet in height, 66 Rockwell enjoys relatively unobstructed views as its surroundings are low-rise. That will change very soon, as the plans for the Atlantic Yards development are finally set to proceed and first tower has finally broken ground.
