Brooklyn-based Moshe Jacobs has filed applications for a four-story, seven-unit residential building at 141 Metropolitan Avenue, in northwestern Williamsburg, located six blocks form the Bedford Avenue stop on the L train. The project will measure 4,946 square feet in total, which means units will average a rental-sized 707 square feet apiece. Two residential units will be located on the fourth floor, although only one will have access to a fifth-floor penthouse component. Greenwich Village-based De-Jan Lu Architect is the applicant of record. An existing three-story townhouse will have to be demolished.
