Construction has topped out and façade installation is imminent on the nine-story, 175-key Hoxton Hotel under development at 97 Wythe Avenue, located on the corner of North 9th Street in Williamsburg. The structure can be seen in an update by the Brooklyn Daily Eagle. The latest building permits indicate the new building will encompass 80,118 square feet and rise 96 feet to its roof.
There will be 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space on the ground floor, followed by the hotel across the second through ninth floors. There will be two restaurants, one located in the cellar and the other located on the rooftop terrace. London-based Ennismore and NoMad-based Sydell Group are the developers. Perkins Eastman is the architect. Completion is expected later this year.
