Permits have been filed for a new residential building next to the Flushing Bay waterfront. An anonymous company is developing the four-story project, at 32-17 112th Street. The site is a one-mile walk to the Mets stadium, which is next to the expansive Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The closest subway station is in that same area, Mets Willets Point station, serviced by the 7 train.
The 50-foot tall building will create 32,000 square feet of residential space, to be divided between six residences; at an average size of over 5,000 square feet apiece, that means condos are exceedingly likely. There will be one parking spot and an apartment on the first floor, two apartments on the second, and one on the third. The fourth floor will have one full unit and half of a duplex that extends up to the penthouse.
Currently, a car repair shop occupies the site. James L. Robinson, of Sir James Robinson RA, will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet, and an expected completion date has not been announced.

It’s time and hello YIMBY. (Thanks for wake me up from grave)
Wow
Is that address correct. The photo shows the Ford dealer which is gone, and is on 112 place. I am on 112 St and there are only houses, no car repair shops.
The address is correct, image is not, updated & thanks for heads up!
