Permits have been filed for a 19-story residential building at 159 Boerum Street, in Williamsburg, which would be among the tallest buildings in the area. The site is three blocks away from The Montrose Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the L train, and Slate Property Group will be responsible for development.
The 190 foot-tall structure will yield 100,650 square feet for residential use. It will create 120 dwelling units, averaging 838 square feet apiece, indicating rentals.
Below-ground space will come with capacity for 85 vehicles and storage for 60 bicycles. The first floor will have two recreational spaces, a lobby, and a package room.
The Suffern, New York-based firm, Aufgang Architects, will be responsible for the design.
An expected completion date has not been announced.

November agrees with you.
No rush here. “L” line won’t be up again for years but when it’s done you’ll be there.
