Permits have been filed for an eight-story dormitory building at 2662 Kingsbridge Terrace, in Fordham Manor, The Bronx. The site is eight blocks away from the Kingsbridge Road Subway Station, serviced by the 4 train. The James J. Peters VA Medical Center is two blocks away, and Lehman College is a twelve-minute walk away. An anonymous LLC is responsible for the development.
The 75-foot tall structure will yield 19,480 square feet for the community facility. 15 four-bed living units will be created, averaging 1,298 square feet apiece.
DJLU Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in early December for the three-story structure on site. The estimated completion date has been announced.

Please pardon me for using your space: Expressly announced by your details from now on. (Hello YIMBY)
I’m assuming this will not be a regular residential building with market rate units as it says Dormitory? Will this structure be built for college students? Or will it be some sort of homeless drug rehab facility?
Noel very good questions. Sounds more like summer camp or a mental institution. Don’t see it affiliated with any college .
No today
