Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 11-16 Main Avenue, in Astoria, Queens. The site is ten blocks away from the 30th Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the N trains. Astoria Ferry Terminal is also nearby. AKI Development will be responsible for development.

The 75-foot-tall structure will yield 40,850 square feet of space, with 1,411 square feet dedicated to commercial-retail use, and 19,240 square feet for residential use. 29 apartments will be created, averaging 663 square feet apiece, indicating rentals.

Tenant storage will be made available in the cellar. A retail space will be also be created within the cellar, alongside 72 parking spaces.

New York Architectural Solutions will be responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed for an extant structure in March of 2017. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
