A new design has been revealed for a six-story residential building at 110 West 123rd Street, in Harlem‘s Mount Morris Park Historic District, which is heading to the Landmarks Preservation Commission for review later today. The site is two blocks away from the 125th Street Subway Station on Malcolm X Boulevard, serviced by the 2 and 3 trains. Four blocks further is the Harlem 125th Street Train Station, serviced by Metro-North. Daniel Kimya is the owner, with Big Apple Developers responsible for the project.

Shahrish Consulting will be responsible for the design. The new proposal is a more conservative look, including a wood/fiberglass cornice on the parapet, iron railing on the windows of the lower four floors, and limestone precast on the façade for the bottom two floors. The design will fit in better with its neighbors, relative to the prior proposal.

The 60-foot tall structure will yield 8,510 square feet, with 6,930 square feet for residential use. Six units will be created, averaging 1,155 square feet apiece, indicating condominiums. The building will have bicycle storage in the cellar, and a rooftop recreational space, divided into two areas. Floors two through six will have balconies on the south side.

The lot is currently vacant, and completion is expected by the Fall of 2019.
