Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 180 East 166th Street in Highbridge, The Bronx. The site is eight blocks away from the 167th Street subway station serviced by the 4 trains. Nelson Playground and Yankee Stadium are also nearby. NP Management NY is listed as behind the applications.
The 42-foot tall structure will yield 15,500 square feet, with 12,300 square feet dedicated to residential use. 18 apartments will be created, averaging 680 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Tenants will have access to a recreation room, bicycle parking and accessory storage.
Fred Geremia Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits for the existing structure were filed in early April of this year. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

Please pardon me for using your space: I thought one time as Andrew Nelson is a person who reported. (Hello YIMBY)
Just a heads up, the address is actually 180 WEST 166th St, Highbridge
Good catch Bobby and thanks for pointing out the error in this post. 180 E. 166th is right on the Concourse, so I was very confused.
