Full demolition permits have been filed for the two buildings at 322-326 Seventh Avenue, in Chelsea, Manhattan. A three-story building at 322 Seventh Avenue and a five-story building at 326 Seventh Avenue will be coming down, containing a total of six residential apartments and 12 commercial units.
It is unclear what plans are in store for the 25,000 square foot lot, as no permits have been filed yet. The 28th Street subway station serviced by the 1 train is steps away.
Michael Kirchmann of GDS Development is listed as owner on permit filings. The development firm bought the two sites this summer for $36 million. They also own 500 West 25th Street, a neighboring site where development on a 10-story condo building with nine floor-through apartments has begun.

Please pardon me for using your space: Thanks to Vanessa Londono so much, it’s true in such an obvious demolition before construction. (Hello YIMBY)
