The Van Brunt, the four-story, 60-foot-tall building consists of two-bedroom units that each have two bathrooms and private balconies with prices ranging from $895,000 to $1,100,000. Arcons Design Studio is the architect of record for the nearly 20,000-square-foot project. YIMBY last reported an inclusion of just over 1,000 square feet of commercial space and about 1,355 square feet of ground-floor community facilities. The Patty LaRocco Team at Douglas Elliman is handling sales.
The site is located between Sullivan Street and Wolcott Street and is about a six-minute walk to access the Red Hook ferry terminal. The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is also close by, where large ships like the frequently visiting Queen Mary II docks and sets sail. The entrance to the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel is about five minutes by car. The only nearby subway station is about a 25-minute walk to the east at the Carroll Street Station for the F and G trains.
The majority of the residences come with deeded parking, and all units have private storage and bike storage, as well as high ceilings, open kitchen floor plans with European oak cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, including gas ranges with vented hoods. A common roof deck sits atop the structure. Homes begin on the second floor.
Residents on the upper floors have views of Lower Manhattan and the surrounding Brooklyn borough.
