Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 79 Winthrop Street in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford Avenue and Flatbush Avenue, the lot is two blocks west of the Winthrop Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains, and one block east of the Parkside Avenue station, serviced by the Q train. Matt Gold of 102 Lefferts Garden Mazal MNBD is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 8,293 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 829 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 45-foot-long rear yard.
Alix Michel of Citiscape Consulting is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
