YIMBY has exclusive renderings of a new five-story building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located at 566 Grand Street, the structure will eventually comprise 9,203 square feet and is designed by Opera Studio Architecture.
Residential area will span 4,898 square feet across seven individual units. Given those measurements, each unit will average approximately 700 square feet and will most likely debut as rental homes.
Commercial space on the lower level will measure 1,563 square feet.
Details regarding building exteriors are not clearly illustrated in the preliminary sketches from the architect.
Filings with the New York City Department of Buildings list Empire Square Group as owner of the property. Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is currently vacant.

Thank you: I don’t ask you whether you like it or not, because it is a general feeling of people. I am happy to see the meaning of these words, that show the development: As well beautiful design in rendering as I have seen.
Beautiful design. Hopefully an enclosed space for garbage and recycling cans will be provided.
Utterly hideous, and the exact example of awfulness in new design. HOrrid, atrocious, and completely out of place. But its very “development”.
Wonderful concept. Great design.
