Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 2339 Nostrand Avenue in Midwood, Brooklyn. Located between Avenue I and Avenue J, the lot is four blocks south of the Flatbush Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 train. Hampshire Properties is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 62,458 square feet, with 51,111 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 59 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 866 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 30 enclosed parking spaces.
Jeremy Singer of Woods Bagot Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in February of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
