Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 714 East 224th Street in Wakefield, The Bronx. Located between White Plains Road and Barnes Avenue, the interior lot is one block south of the 225th Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Daniel Bakhshi under the SBR Buyer LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 35-foot-tall development will yield 9,774 square feet, with 7,364 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 736 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 56-foot-long rear yard.
Christian Lozada of CL Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
