Permits have been filed for a two-story warehouse building at 161-02 Rockaway Boulevard in Springfield Gardens, Queens. Located at the intersection of 145th Road and Rockaway Boulevard, the corner lot is between Belt Parkway and John F. Kennedy Airport. Bartlett, a local dairy distributor under the Jughandle Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 46-foot-tall development will yield 53,230 square feet designated for manufacturing space. The building will consist of a partial two-story and accessory offices. The steel-based structure will also have a 20-foot-long rear yard but no accessory parking.
Frank Smith of H2M Architects and Engineers is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
