This is an insult to those who have been residing in Crown Heights for a long time. Not alot of people are earning incomes between $76,286 and $167,570. Current elected officials who are supposed to be representing us have failed us. They’re after their own interests. It’s no wonder the homeless population is so high in NYC especially in neighborhoods like Crown Heights and Prospect Heights. Each weekday morning when I go through Brooklyn neighborhoods like Crown Heights, Prospect Heights and Downtown Brooklyn I see homeless people on the corner. For example, on a Prospect Heights street (Washington Av & Bergen St – even numbered side) I saw a homeless male sleeping on the street. This cannot continue to happen!
