Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 3220 Tiemann Avenue in Baychester, The Bronx. Located one block from Haffen Park on a dead-end block, the interior lot is walking distance from the Baychester Avenue subway station, serviced by the B train. Ron Karo of Mona Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 38-foot-tall development will yield 29,679 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 34 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 872 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, a 56-foot-long rear yard, and 30 open parking spaces.
Badaly Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will not be needed as the site is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
