Permits have been filed for a 20-story mixed-use building with affordable housing at 147-27 Archer Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Located between 147th Place and 148th Street, the lot is one block from the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue-JFK Airport subway station, serviced by the E, J, and Z trains. Meyer Chetrit under the 88th Avenue Owner LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 231-foot-tall development will yield 274,837 square feet, with 234,535 square feet designated for residential space, 23,108 square feet for commercial space, and 17,194 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 359 residences with 119 income-restricted housing units. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 186 enclosed parking spaces.
IMC Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
