Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 88 North 1st Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue, the interior lot is within walking distance of the Bedford Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Hershy Silberstein of Blue Shine Builders Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 85-foot-tall development will yield 32,835 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 48 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 684 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 24 enclosed parking spaces.
Hamish Whitefield Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
