Permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 43-09 52nd Street in Sunnyside, Queens. Located between Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Boulevard, the lot is steps from the 52nd Street subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Ivan Turkalj of Kordun Construction Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 90-foot-tall development will yield 24,547 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 33 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 743 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
T.F. Cusanelli & Filletti Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
