Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 42-22 147th Street in Flushing, Queens. Located between Beech Avenue and Sanford Avenue, the lot is near the Flushing Street subway station, serviced by the 7 train. Wang Lam is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 14,440 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 19 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 760 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 37-foot-long rear yard, and ten enclosed parking spaces.
Mei Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May 2022 for the two-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
