Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 17 Church Lane in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Located between Remsen Avenue and East 89th Street, the lot is near the Rockaway Parkway subway station, serviced by the L train. David Amrusi is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 108-foot-tall development will yield 39,409 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 42 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 938 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have community facility space and eight enclosed parking spaces.
King David Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
