New renderings have been unveiled for The Dupont, a new residential tower under construction on the Greenpoint waterfront. Located at 16 Dupont Street, the 41-story building is being developed by Rockefeller Group in a joint venture partnership with Park Tower Group and designed by Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel, with interiors created by Workstead. Compass Development Marketing Group is the exclusive marketing and leasing partner.
Sitting on the 22-acre Greenpoint Landing complex near the intersection of West Street and Dupont Street, the 400-foot-tall Dupont overlooks Newtown Barge Park, a new neighborhood park. Also nearby is publicly accessible green space, as well as ferry access along the waterfront.
Components include ground-floor retail space, parking, and 381 rental units in a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Residences feature panelized appliances, Bosch induction cooktops, and in-unit washers and dryers. Nearly 90 percent of the homes have views of the East River and Manhattan skyline. Amenities span both indoors and out, and include a fitness center and rooftop pool.
Residences at The Dupont are expected to be available in September. More information can be found via The Dupont website.
