Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 259 Halsey Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Tompkins Avenue and Throop Avenue, the lot is near the Utica Avenue subway station, served by the A and C trains. Ran Michaeli is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 6,953 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 869 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
Wu Woody Chen of Infocus Design and Planning is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed earlier this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
