The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1367 Eastern Parkway, a seven-story residential building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Designed by Amr Ouda and developed by Zalmen Kaufman, the structure yields 31 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 30 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $116,058 to $181,740.
Amenities include an elevator, pet-friendly policies, and a shared laundry room. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are six studios with a monthly rent of $3,385 for incomes ranging from $116,058 to $161,590, and 24 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,595 for incomes ranging from $123,258 to $181,740.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 8, 2025.

Ugh. Totally out of place on Eastern Parkway. It will stand out like a sore thumb. This is not the way to extend the revitalization of the avenue further past Utica Avenue.
