The affordable housing lottery has launched for 258-262 Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by ARC Architecture + Design Studio and developed by Diamond Dev Group LLC, the structure yields 24 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 21 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $72,000 to $167,570.
Residences feature in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, energy-efficient air conditioners with smart controls, and private patios or rooftop terraces. Tenants are responsible for electricity including electric stove, heat, and hot water.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are 21 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,574 for incomes ranging from $122,538 to $181,740.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 9, 2025.
