Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 588 Thomas S Boyland Street in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Sutter Avenue and Blake Avenue, the lot is near the Saratoga Avenue subway station, served by the 3 train. Meilech Friedman under the Amboy Residence LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 5,294 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 661 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a mezzanine level and 30-foot-long rear yard.
Amr Ouda of Jay Architect & Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
