Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 5306 9th Avenue in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between 53rd Street and 54th Street, the lot is closest to the 50th Street subway station, served by the D train. Ren Da Chen under the 28 Property LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 11,996 square feet, with 9,096 square feet designated for residential space and 2,947 square feet for community facility space. The building will have eight residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,137 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and four open parking spaces.
Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
