Permits have been filed to expand a one-story structure into a four-story mixed-use building at 103 Moore Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Humboldt Street and Graham Avenue, the lot is near the Flushing Avenue subway station, served by the J and M trains. Mendel Berkowitz is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 6,186 square feet, with 5,429 square feet designated for residential space, 500 square feet for community facility space, and 255 square feet for commercial space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 678 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long rear yard.

Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical and horizontal expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
