Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 822 Bergen Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Grand and Classon Avenues, the lot is closest to the Franklin Avenue subway station, served by the A, C, and S trains. Eugene Khody is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 19,518 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 22 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 887 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, roof terrace on the sixth floor, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
RSLN Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
