The affordable housing lottery has launched for 43-25 52nd Street, a nine-story residential building in Woodside, Queens. Designed by Angelo Ng & Anthony Ng Architects and developed by Xiaoke Tang of Yi Lu Fa Corporation, the structure yields 27 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 15 units for residents at 40 to 90 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $35,040 to $157,500.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, gym, virtual doorman, elevator, and outdoor terrace. Residences are equipped with washers and dryers, air conditioning, charging outlets with USB ports, smart controls for heating and cooling, intercoms, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes stove and heat.

At 40 percent of the AMI, there are two studios with a monthly rent of $880 for incomes ranging from $35,040 to $51,840, and four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $933 for incomes ranging from $37,612 to $58,320.

At 60 percent of the AMI, there is one studio with a monthly rent of $1,374 for incomes ranging from $51,978 to $77,760, and five two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,739 for incomes ranging from $67,166 to $105,000.

At 90 percent of the AMI, there are three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,692 for incomes ranging from $99,840 to $157,500.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than August 18, 2025.

  1. I love the building and will be nice to live with my wife and me in one bedroom apt.

  2. I love the appearance of exterior & interior of this building. I watched construction for several years when I passed by it. Unfortunately my total household income is above maximum eventhough I live alone. Tax withdrawals are not considered in my retirement incomes, I’d be an excellent resident as a quiet senior who is familiar with this neighborhood.
