Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 647 Madison Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Malcolm X Boulevard and Stuyvesant Avenue, the lot is near the Kosciuszko Street subway station, served by the J train. Isaac Dana is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 12,958 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 14 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 925 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a fifth-story rooftop terrace.

Robert Bianchini of ARC Architecture + Design Studio is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Just a heads up that the image used in this article is not of 647 Madison. The building shown here is across the street from 647 Madison (which is a vacant lot).
