The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2435 Pacific Street, a ten-story residential building in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Brooklyn Community Housing & Services along with Alembic Community Development and Love Fellowship Tabernacle, the structure yields 236 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 93 units for residents at 30 to 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $28,115 to $160,720.
Amenities include bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, playground, storage, recycling center, elevator, package lockers, recreation room, and a landscaped patio. Residences are equipped with energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, and high-speed internet. Tenants are responsible for electricity including stove.
At 30 percent of the AMI, there are four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $693 for incomes ranging from $28,115 to $43,740; four two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $814 for incomes ranging from $33,738 to $52,500; and four three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $925 for incomes ranging from $38,983 to $60,270.
At 40 percent of the AMI, there are nine one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $996 for incomes ranging from $38,503 to $58,320; eight two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,178 for incomes ranging from $46,218 to $70,000; and eight three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,346 for incomes ranging from $53,418 to $80,360.
At 60 percent of the AMI, there are 12 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,604 for incomes ranging from $59,349 to $87,480; nine two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,907 for incomes ranging from $71,212 to $105,000; and eight three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,189 for incomes ranging from $82,320 to $120,540.
At 80 percent of the AMI, there are nine one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,211 for incomes ranging from $80,160 to $116,640; ten two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,636 for incomes ranging from $96,206 to $140,000; and eight three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,031 for incomes ranging from $111,189 to $160,720.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than December 29, 2025.
