Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 158 South Oxford Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Located between Atlantic Avenue and Hanson Place, the interior lot is one block from the Lafayette Avenue subway station, served by the C train. Shimon Kleinman is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 22,947 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 17 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,349 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, 10 open parking spaces, and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Nataliya Donskoy of ND Architecture & Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for the three-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

What a sad story
This is one of the last wooden houses built in the neighborhood , probably dates to late 1890 or so
The neighborhood have been trying to landmark it for years all for naught.
