Work is nearing completion on Forte Living, an 18-story residential building at 205 East 110th Street in East Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Studio V Architecture and developed by Fouerti Realty, the structure will yield 209 rental units, including 53 affordable homes, and ground-floor commercial space. INPUT is serving as the interior designer for the project, which is bounded by Third Avenue, East 110th, and East 111th Streets.
The majority of the exterior is finished in its façade of gray stone paneling surrounding an irregular grid of windows grouped in three-story metal frames. A wraparound terrace lined with a glass railing will sit atop the sixth-floor setback, and the upper levels feature multiple loggia balconies within a series of soaring voids. Work is still wrapping up on the first two stories, but should be completed in the coming weeks.

The affordable housing lottery is currently open the development. Details on the units available from NYC Housing Connect can be found in our post from earlier this month. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than April 27, 2026.
The nearest subway from the ground-up development is the 6 train at the 110th Street station along Lexington Avenue.

It’s a very good design, although the top is a bit messy. The perimeter railing looks like a cheap afterthought. In fact, the renderings don’t even show a railing. Otherwise, it’s not bad.
